The hostel had a stylish and functional design, with carefully picked and organized amenities. The staff were friendly and provided great hospitality. The shared bathrooms were clean and never crowded. The hostel was located in a quiet neighborhood, offering a comfortable and memorable stay. It was also conveniently situated near key attractions in the city, allowing easy exploration.
The sound insulation of the building was not sufficient, causing disturbances from neighboring rooms and the room above. The beds were quite firm and lacked mattresses, which may not be comfortable for some guests.

The guestrooms at Hostel Niniroom were absolutely perfect for a good night's sleep. They had all the amenities I needed and were so cozy and comfortable. I slept like a baby!
Personally, I found the private entrance in the twin room a bit unnecessary. For me, it didn't add any value to my stay.

I had a fantastic stay at a funky hostel in Kyoto. The shower facilities were top-notch, and they even provided hot water for tea 24/7. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The location was amazing, with easy access to the city center and sightseeing spots. The hostel's cafe/bar on the ground floor was a great place to hang out with other guests. I highly recommend this place for a unique and enjoyable stay in Kyoto!
The only thing that could have been better with the breakfast offerings was more variety.

I recently stayed at Niniroom in Kyoto for a night during my travels. The convenience of its location was a major advantage, as it is only 55 km away from Itami Airport. This made it an ideal choice for a transit stay.
The rooms at Niniroom were not well-insulated. Despite having a heater, it still felt chilly inside, and the lack of insulation also meant that noise from other guests could be heard even with closed doors.

I recently stayed at a small and unique hostel in Kyoto. The staff were extremely helpful, and as a gluten intolerant person, they went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs. The decor and layout of the hostel were beautiful and well-designed. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were some of the nicest I have ever experienced. The hostel's location was convenient and within walking distance to many attractions. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for an inexpensive and immaculately clean experience.
I would recommend this hotel.

The design and decoration of the hostel were really stylish and aesthetically pleasing. The attention to detail in the interior design made it feel like a cozy and homely atmosphere. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful advice and assistance. The location of the hostel was also great, situated on a quiet street but still close to all the main attractions and amenities.
There were a few negative aspects of my stay. the communication barrier was a bit challenging.

The hostel exceeded expectations with clean family rooms, a friendly staff, and a convenient location near 7/11. The communal area was welcoming and the showers were the best in Japan. Bag storage was available after check out, but we opted for train station lockers.
